On October 29, 2019, we brought the creative team of Crazy Rich Asians to Washington, DC for a Creative Rights Caucus event. Appearing at the event were producer John Penotti, associate producer Janice Chua, actor Chris Pang, costume designer Mary Vogt, and music producer Cheapshot.
The event featured a panel to discuss what it takes to make a movie like Crazy Rich Asians and why strong intellectual property protections are necessary for creative industries to thrive.
